Thac Ba Lake is a man-made lake located in the Yen Bai Province of Vietnam. It is one of the largest lakes in Vietnam, with a surface area of over 20,000 hectares. The lake was created in the 1970s when the Thac Ba Hydropower Plant was built. The dam that holds back the lake is the tallest in Vietnam.
