This 5-Day Highlands Off-Road Adventure takes you from Hoi An to Kon Tum via Dak To, exploring the Indochina border loop and the hidden trails of the Central Highlands.

You’ll ride through historic war sites like Charlie Hill (Also know as Battle of Hill 488) and My Lai, pass remote ethnic minority villages, navigate through coffee and rubber plantations, follow the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail, and finish along Vietnam’s stunning coastal roads.

This tour is designed for experienced riders seeking a true adventure, from smooth dirt tracks to rugged mountain trails — while discovering the authentic culture, history, and raw natural beauty of Central Vietnam.

Note: Off-road sections can be customized to match different rider skill levels, ensuring everyone enjoys the adventure safely.

Itinerary

Kick off your journey with an exhilarating off-road ride covering 30–40 km of winding mountain trails and 22 stream crossings deep in Central Vietnam.
Pass through hidden ethnic minority villages, lush rice paddies, and dense forest tracks far from busy roads.
Cool off with a refreshing swim at a local waterfall before reaching Nam Tra My, a remote mid-mountain village rarely visited by tourists — where ethnic communities live peacefully amid pristine nature.

Start your day with morning coffee at the foot of the Truong Son Mountains before launching into a thrilling off-road ride through dense jungle trails, river crossings, and rugged terrain on the way to Dak To for lunch.
In the afternoon, time permitting, visit the Indochina Tripoint Border Marker before taking on Charlie Hill — an epic climb offering panoramic views across the highlands.
Continue your ride through pine forests, coffee and rubber plantations, and remote ethnic villages before arriving in Kon Tum by late afternoon.

Begin the day with a scenic ride through rubber and tea plantations, following rural trails by the Da Dia stream, and stopping for coffee at Bien Ho Lake, a peaceful volcanic lake near Pleiku.
In the afternoon, challenge yourself with some of the tour’s most rewarding off-road sections — bashing through forests, fording streams, and navigating rugged mountain paths.
Encounter minority communities living in traditional stilt houses and experience their genuine hospitality.
End the day in Mang Den, a cool, misty highland town surrounded by pine forests, rolling hills, and tranquil valleys.

Ride along the historic East Ho Chi Minh Trail, where lush forests, mountain passes, and changing climates — from cool highlands to warm valleys — create a day of pure adventure.
Conquer off-road trails winding through hidden villages, cross the iconic bamboo bridge, and tackle the twisting slopes of Violak Pass, offering breathtaking panoramic views.
Enjoy warm smiles and friendly waves from local villagers as you descend into Quang Ngai by late afternoon.
You can choose to stay in the city center or by the coast for a relaxing evening after an epic day on the trails.

On the final day of our adventure, we begin with a visit to a majestic seaside temple that houses Vietnam’s tallest Buddha statue, gazing peacefully over the ocean.
We then visit the My Lai Massacre Memorial, a poignant historical site reminding us of the region’s past.
Afterward, cross by local ferry (or follow an alternative coastal route) and pass the famed aqueduct bridge — locally known as the legendary “Death Bridge”. Enjoy the ultimate highlight of the journey: 50 km of pure coastal riding along sandy beaches, through fishing villages, and beside endless ocean views.
The ride concludes back in Hoi An, marking the end of a 5-day journey filled with off-road thrills, cultural encounters, and spectacular scenery.
