6 Day Trip From Hoi An to Nha Trang Itinerary

Day 1 – Hoi An → Kham Duc (180 km)

Ride through scenic rice fields and visit Cham Towers and historic American war sites. Follow the Ho Chi Minh Trail, passing pineapple plantations and lush countryside.

Choose an off-road route with jungle tracks and stream crossings, or stick to smoother mountain roads. Stop for a waterfall swim before continuing into the Central Highlands to meet ethnic minority villagers and learn about their traditions.

Arrive in Kham Duc around 5 PM.

Day 2 – Kham Duc → Kon Tum (250 km)

Ride through stunning highland landscapes, following a quiet section of the Ho Chi Minh Trail. Pass vast coffee and rubber plantations, and visit Tay, Nung, and Ba Na villages to experience their daily life.

For experienced riders, tackle the off-road challenge at Charlie Hill, crossing rugged jungle terrain steeped in wartime history.

Arrive in Kon Tum to visit the Wooden Church (1913–1918) and the Bahnar Rong House, an architectural and cultural highlight of the region.

Day 3 – Kon Tum → Dak Lak (270 km)

Today’s ride is full of breathtaking views and freedom. Start with a visit to Bien Ho Lake, enjoy a strong local coffee, and take in the sweeping pine hills.

Continue toward the Cambodian border on scenic backroads or off-road trails through coffee plantations and remote highlands. Visit an Ede ethnic village to experience local life before arriving in Buon Ma Thuot by late afternoon.

Day 4 – Dak Lak → Dray Sap → Lak Lake (140 km)

A shorter day packed with highlights. Visit ethnic villages, explore longhouses, and meet the majestic elephants of the Central Highlands.

Ride through coffee plantations, stop by Dray Sap and Dray Nu waterfalls, or trek up Elephant Mountain for panoramic views.

Arrive at Lak Lake in the afternoon, relax by the lakeside, or enjoy a traditional Gong music performance (Extra Cost).

Day 5 – Lak Lake → Da Lat (180 km)

Morning visit to M’nông villages around Lak Lake, where you can observe and feed elephants in a natural.

Ride the famous “Road of 1,000 Bends” through lush forests and rolling highlands toward Da Lat. Stop at Elephant Waterfall (Thác Voi) before reaching the “City of a Thousand Flowers,” known for its romantic streets and cool mountain air.

Day 6 – Da Lat → Nha Trang (150 km)

Start with a quick Da Lat city loop — Bao Dai Palace, Crazy House, and a ride around Xuan Huong Lake.

Descend from the highlands toward Nha Trang, passing K’ho villages and a mountain waterfall along the way.

As you reach the coast, feel the temperature rise and the breeze of the East Sea, the perfect finale to your 6-day highland adventure.
