Itinerary

We depart Hoi An by motorbike, winding through lush rice fields before heading west and climbing into the mountains. Along the way, we stop at an 11th-century Cham tower and explore historical sites from the American War.

The adventure continues on off-road jungle tracks and stream crossings, or you can choose smoother mountain roads if you prefer. Take a refreshing dip in a waterfall and enjoy the spectacular scenery of dense forests, rolling hills, and serene valleys.

As we ride deeper into the mountains, you’ll encounter Co Tu ethnic minority villages, observing daily life and traditional practices. Delight in the cheerful greetings of children waving at you — a heartwarming welcome that adds a special touch to the journey.

We begin the day riding along the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail — a wartime supply route once considered one of the greatest military engineering feats of the 20th century. The road winds through remote borderlands near Laos, offering untouched jungle scenery, winding mountain passes, and peacul valleys few travelers ever see.

Throughout the morning, we visit Co Tu ethnic villages, known for their traditional stilt houses, weaving culture, and warm hospitality. Continue deeper into the highlands, stopping at waterfalls for a refreshing swim before making our way to A Luoi for lunch.

In the afternoon, the ride takes us through pristine jungle corridors and across scenic passes such as Ma Oi Pass, where newly replanted forests stand on land once devastated during the war. From here, the landscape gradually opens as we descend toward the historic city of Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam.

Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Begin the final day with a visit to Hue’s Imperial Citadel, the ancient seat of Vietnam’s last Nguyen Dynasty. Wander through moss-covered gates, peaceful courtyards, and historic palaces that echo stories of a royal era. After the Citadel, we ride out of the city toward the countryside, stopping at the Thanh Toan Bridge (built in 1776) and its vibrant local market for a glimpse of rural life.

From here, the journey continues along quiet roads through farming villages where locals grow straw mushrooms, before reaching the extraordinary City of Tombs in An Bang — a surreal landscape of colorful, ornate mausoleums built to honor ancestral generations. We then follow the edge of Tam Giang Lagoon, the largest lagoon system in Southeast Asia, and enjoy a fresh seafood lunch at a floating local restaurant.

In the afternoon, the adventure builds as we take on the legendary Hai Van Pass, famously featured in the Top Gear Vietnam Special. Meaning “Sea Clouds,” the pass surrounds you with sweeping curves, mountain fog, and dramatic ocean views. After descending into Da Nang, we follow the scenic coastline — often listed among the world’s most beautiful beaches — before stopping at the Marble Mountains to explore their incredible caves and viewpoints.

We end the day arriving back in Hoi An, completing your unforgettable 3-day Central Vietnam motorcycle adventure.
